Vehicle Travel
Take exit 230 (Highway 20 - just north of Mt. Vernon) off I-5 and follow the signs to Anacortes. The ferry route is well marked. Try to arrive at the San Juan Ferry Terminal one hour before scheduled departure (two hours on weekends and during the summer season). The ferry ride to Orcas Island takes about 1 1/4 hours. From the ferry, take an immediate left on Orcas Road. Proceed 8.5 miles to Eastsound. Go 1.3 miles through town to the Olga Road/Terrill Beach Road intersection. Turn right and proceed 3.2 miles to Rosario Road. Turn right and go 1.3 miles to the bottom of the hill. Turn left directly in front of the entrance to Rosario's parking lot. Continue past stop sign, cross parking lot and continue up the hill staying to the right as the road "Y"'s. Cascade Harbor Inn's office is in the second building. Plane Travel
Kenmore Air Seaplanes (425-486-1257 or 800-543-9595), located in Seattle at Lake Union and North Lake Washington, have superbly scenic, 45 minute, daily scheduled flights to Rosario on Orcas Island. The float plane dock at Rosario is a short walk from Cascade Harbor Inn. Click for a schedule.
